Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC

Baker Donelson occupies four and a half floors of the Commerce Center at 211 Commerce Street in downtown Nashville, TN. ClearLine was brought in to upgrade this prominent law firm’s network infrastructure to cat6 cabling, re-build the Communications Rooms on each floor and relocate the Server Room to a different floor. This project coincided with an interior renovation involving new carpet, paint and finishes, and required maintaining operation the entire time.

Employees were moved from locations where construction was underway, shifting areas as the project moved from floor to floor. From a technology perspective, this challenging installation required effective management of technical resources, flexibility with multiple trades, and an imperative to meet deadlines. ClearLine installed roughly 1,800 cat6 cables throughout the 4 ½ floors and completely re-built the coax CATV network.

According To Our Client

"The ClearLine team not only met but exceeded our expectations.  They have been a partner during the build-out and remodel of 88,000 square feet of office space.  I know I can count on them now and in the future to deliver top quality work."

Adams and Reese LLP

Adams & Reese called on ClearLine Networks to build their voice and data network for its new office space on the 27th and 28th floors of the Fifth Third Building in downtown Nashville.  ClearLine installed roughly 800 cat5e cables on the two floors and built out an intermediate distribution frame (IDF) and main distribution frame (MDF).  ClearLine also installed 75 coax runs for their CATV network.  To meet the customer’s aggressive move-in schedule, ClearLine worked weekends and added multiple crews on several occasions.

CapWealth Advisors, LLC

CapWealth Advisors of Nashville partnered with ClearLine Networks to build its voice and data infrastructure network, which consisted of roughly 120 cat5e cables run under a completely raised floor office space in the PICA Building in Cool Springs.

ClearLine was also tasked with designing and installing a custom A/V solution including a small conference room, a Board Room with a room control system, ceiling mounted projector and 65” LCD, and LCD TVs installed in ten different offices.  ClearLine also installed a “white noise system” throughout the office space to ensure privacy of confidential conversations and reduce distracting office noise.

According To Our Client

"ClearLine is one of the most professional companies that we, CapWealth Advisors, have had the pleasure to work with. I speak for everyone at CapWealth Advisors when I say that ClearLine provides first-class service. We would highly recommend them to anyone."

Loews Hotels Call Center

ClearLine was brought in to build out a new 2 ½ floor call center with datacenter space to serve as the main backup disaster recovery hub for the Loews New York City home office. Working around multiple trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) with an entire construction schedule of just 70 days, ClearLine successfully installed 15 server cabinets interconnected with 24 cat6a copper cables and 24 strands of fiber between cabinets as well as pre-built connectivity for up to 900 desks. The data center space was also equipped with a state-of-the-art 3 tier basket tray (1 layer for copper, 1 for fiber, 1 for electric).

Due to well-organized planning and a proficient design lead there were minimal change orders overall.

Underwriter's Laboratory (UL)

When Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) built their new 40,000 sq. ft. office space, they looked to ClearLine Networks for nearly all their low voltage solutions including voice, data and video cabling, AV Systems, White Noise and Security.

For the voice and data cabling portion of the project, ClearLine installed over 600 cat6 cables throughout the two floors of the new space. Additionally, ClearLine built out a great looking and highly functional data center for UL.

Multiple conference rooms and a training room recevied AV systems with room control functionality. These installations included projectors, screens, table boxes, audio and TVs.

Sound masking white noise was installed in cube areas and hallways. The white noise system is programmed to ramp up and down throughout the day and week to adjust for different levels of ambient noise.

For UL's security needs, ClearLine installed an access control sytem with mulitple card readers, and a camera CCTV system with a DVR accessible by PC & smartphone.

According To Our Client

"Clearline worked with us to understand our needs and vision for our project. They are easy to work with, highly responsive and dedicated to customer service. I highly recommend this team."

Earl Swensson Architects

Earl Swennson Associates Inc., Nashville's largest architectural firm, designed Gulch Crossing - a new 205,000 sq ft building in the heart of the city's hottest urban living community - to call home.

Anchoring the building on the top two floors with nearly 200 employees, ESa called on ClearLine to make the buildout a success. The project consisted of installing two networks: one Cat6a 10Gb Data to the desktop and a second Cat6 1Gb voice-over-IP network -- using over 40 miles of copper cable -- with most of the cable being installed in cable trays, conduit run under slab and deck mounted cable supports in an exposed ceiling environment. There were also several multicount fiber runs between Server rooms and Dmarc locations.

Altogether the project involved the installation of 440 cat6A data cables, 359 cat6 data cables, and 12 strand OM3 fiber cabling between data center closets. ClearLine also installed and wired five racks and nine cabinets in the server room.

According To Our Client

"We were very impressed with ClearLine. They delivered what we examined to be the most accurate bid on materials and project plan for cable pathways to keep cable lengths within tolerance. They did an excellent job installing our cable in an organized fashion in the exposed ceiling areas and taking extra care of the cable while at the same time meeting a critical path schedule. If we were to do this project over again we would not hesitate in selecting them again. Both the management and installers were a great team to work with."

Dickson County School District

Dickson County Schools, a long time ClearLine customer, was in need of an updated phone system for its schools, Board of Education office, transportation department and operations complex. ClearLine replaced the district's traditional TDM phone exchange with an advanced VoIP system by reworking existing wiring to accommodate the new, easy-to-use IP phone network.

ClearLine installed an Allworx Connect 731 server in 15 buildings throughout the district, and installed new Allworx phones for over 1100 end users (including principals, receptionists, teachers, directors, etc.) in administrative offices and classrooms. Each of the 15 systems is connected to the PSTN via SIP trunks providing Dickson County Schools with both the flexibility and redundancy that they required. ClearLine also provided live training for all 1100+ personnel and the district's PBX System Administrator.

The district received school licenses for Allworx Reach, a mobile client allowing school Principals and Vice Principlas to extend their office desk phone functionality to their smart phones for greater connectivity and flexibility.

According To Our Client

"Working with the ClearLine team continues to be a pleasure because they have great product knowledge, as well as what works in a school system. They designed a phone system with a rich feature set, but without a rich price tag. I am looking forward to many more years of working together."

Hospice Compassus

As part of a new 31,000 sq. ft. office buildout, Hospice Compassus called on ClearLine Networks to build out its server room and install all new horizontal cabling throughout, running over 500 cat5e cables for offices, cubicles, WAPs and Room Schedulers. A multi mode fiber optic cable was installed from the adjacent building to the new office for intermediary transition purposes. Prior to new cable installation and routing, ClearLine handled demo of all old voice and data cable from the previous tenant.

The server room features two - 7’ open relay racks with front and rear vertical managers installed on each side with covers to conceal the cabling. Ladder rack running from the top of the rack to the wall provides support along with a cable pathway for cables to dress into the racks.

ClearLine also installed a white noise system divided into six zones, with a total of 150 emitters. This system connects to the network to offer an end user GUI interface for programming, and can ramp up and down throughout the day on a programmable schedule. This allows users to have a more comfortable volume throughout the day as the natural ambient noise in the office increases and decreases.

According To Our Client

"Clearline Networks installed over 500 new cat5e lines and implemented a solution to maintain connectivity to our old building during construction that saved both money and technical effort. I appreciate the partnership we formed and their experience that goes far beyond just running cable."
